On July 2nd, 2018, the Minister of Public Works, Mr. José Luis Ábalos, inaugurated the A-23 highway Caldearenas – Lanave section, of 4,5 km long.
The section involved an investment of 46M € and will allow drivers to save 1.5 kilometers of curves improving road safety in an area where 165 serious accidents took place in recent years.
The viaduct on the Guarga specially stands out from the inaugurated highway section, with 350 meters length and 40 height, a work which has been finalist in the last prizes of public work Acueducto de Segovia. The project and the construction management were carried out by Esteyco (2005-2018).
