The AINE 2017 Award Ceremony took place last June 29th 2018, in which our colleague Bernardino Couñago received the award for his long career in the field of offshore wind energy, from the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Ms. Reyes Maroto Illera and the Dean of the Official Association of Naval Engineers, Mr. José Lara.
Currently, Bernardino is participating in the project that ESTEYCO is carrying out in the Canary waters, the first offshore wind turbine in Spain, which is also the first wind turbine in the world to be installed without the need of crane vessels or jack ups.
