The works acceptance report of the Arasur railway goods siding construction was formalized last December, 26. In this project, ESTEYCO carried out the Construction Project which was commissioned by the Basque company Euskal Trenbide Sarea. Moreover, Esteyco was responsible for the onsite works management for the Port Authority of Bilbao which is the owner and manager of this infrastructure’s exploitation.
It consists of two tracks for the entrance and exit of trains and two other tracks for goods loading and unloading services. Furthermore, a loading and uploading rail yard has been included in order to facilitate rail freight modal interchange.
