ESTEYCO CHILE, A CASE OF TRANSOCEANIC SUCCESS

Esteyco is one of the many Spanish SMEs that dared to jump into Latin America after the 2008 crisis. This engineering company decided to bet on Chile in 2011, when in Spain the business had plummeted. “We went to the countries where we thought we could settle and when we arrived in Chile we saw that there was no crisis there,” explained Marciano Limones, Director of Business Development at Esteyco.
After getting the first job, a modest service station in Valparaíso area, Esteyco has progressively increased its portfolio of projects in Chile, some of them under the leadership of large Spanish construction companies that settled in the country decades ago, such as Sacyr.
