ATOMS NOMINATED IN THE BLUEINVEST AWARDS
The ATOMS Project (Auxiliary Towable Operation and Maintenance System for Offshore Wind Towers) has been nominated in the BlueInvest Awards within the Net Zero and Decarbonisation category. It rewards innovative technologies in the marine energy fields that, at the same time, contributes with the decarbonisation of energies to achieve a future of zero emissions.
The event, that will take place next Monday 28th March at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels, will consist of a Pitch Battle in the 4 different categories. José Serna García-Conde, Esteyco’s Chief Technology Officer, will be defending the ATOMS project in front of a panel of 4 experts who will decide which is the most marketable project within each category.
ATOMS (Auxiliary Towable Operation and Maintenance System for Offshore Wind Towers) is a project funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) of the European Commission (Grant Agreement: 958976) consisting of an innovative system to perform, for the first time, large corrective actions (O&M) in offshore wind turbines without heavy-list vessels, thus slashing the linked costs.
Good luck, José!
