After more than 40 years in our beloved offices of Menéndez Pidal in Madrid, a few months ago we decided to take a leap and look for a new workspace to share with our colleagues and our customers. It wasn’t an easy decision, since we had such a strong bond to our old offices, but we considered that it was necessary to evolve and promote a model change towards a more sustainable and open office, consistent with our way of designing and approaching projects.

After a few months looking for the perfect fit, we finally found the space we had imagined on the first two floors located in the Mapfre building, in Avenida Burgos 12, in Madrid; a diaphanous and bright offices, with direct entry from the street, where we could overturn the ideas we handle regarding the community, the circularity and the people who inhabit in the building.
To face this challenge, we were accompanied by Construcía, pioneers in circular construction and great promoters of changes of model towards a sustainable construction, positive for the ecosystem and for the health of people. With them, and with the architecture studio The Move, we designed a warm and modern space, which gives us the flexibility demanded by the new times without renouncing that meeting points that are so necessary in engineering and architecture.

From our point of view the result has been more than satisfactory: one of those cases in which the imagined project and its built coincide. You are all more than welcome to discover it.
