At Esteyco, we annually celebrate Women in Engineering on June 23rd, we were honored to have Mrs. Lola Ortiz, General Director of Mobility Planning and Infrastructure of the Madrid City Council, at our Madrid office. Lola gave us an insightful and personal account of her professional journey across various fields of engineering and shared her experiences as a woman in the sector.

From Esteyco, we were delighted to hear from our colleague Ana Cogolludo, a civil engineer, who spoke about her early career in project management and what it was like to be a woman in the industry in the 2000s.

We were able to appreciate two perspectives on women’s careers in engineering, from both the public and private sectors.
