ESTEYCO’S NEW ATOMS WEBSITE LAUNCHED
Esteyco has just launched the website of the ATOMS project (Auxiliary Towable Operation and Maintenance System for Offshore Wind Towers), consisting of the design, certification, construction and prototype of a real-scale system to perform the so-called Large Corrective Maintenance actions for offshore turbines without depending on scarce and costly jack-ups or vessels thus reducing O&M costs in offshore platforms (funded by the European Commission’s European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) program. Grant Agreement: 958976).
It is an easy-to-use and intuitive website including all technical information of the project, as well as its progress. It has been designed to reach not only the scientific community but also society in general with the intention of increasing interest in the offshore wind energy, specifically in the O&M sector.
With this purpose in mind, the website has been divided into different sections where users can find the project’s basic information (work packages, milestones, submission dates, etc.) as well as updated information about the project’s evolution and the dissemination and communication actions carried out within the project.
In addition, Esteyco has created the ATOMS Community on Linkedin, a group to disseminate and debate over the offshore wind energy and the importance of O&M to contribute to a future with zero emissions.
