Latin America Power starts the operational phase of the largest wind farm in Chile, San Juan Wind Farm, with a total installed capacity of 184.8 MW and located in the Region of Atacama.
After energizing the plant’s elevating substation, together with the High Voltage Transmission line and the Connecting Substation to the electrical grid, and once the 56 wind turbines of San Juan have been set up and commissioned, it is time to start the phase of full operation which, to date, is the largest wind farm in Chile.
ESTEYCO has participated carrying out the wind farm engineering and assisting LAP during the works execution, wind turbines assembly and commissioning.
