Last Wednesday, February 26th, the “NORWAY-SPAIN Transport Infrastructure Business Forum” was held in Oslo, organized by the Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in Norway and ICEX.

ESTEYCO was invited as a consulting company in the field of Civil Engineering and Architecture, with a continuous presence in Norway since 2017. This presence is part of ESTEYCO’s strategy to consolidate and increase its activity in Norway as part of its international diversification in Northern Europe.

The working session was preceded by a reception the previous day at the residence of the Spanish Ambassador to Norway, H.E. Ms. Alejandra del Río Novo, on the occasion of the visit of the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, H.E. Mr. Óscar Puente Santiago. During the reception, the Minister showed interest in the situation of the Spanish companies present, and ESTEYCO had the opportunity to share its vision of the opportunities and challenges in a country that demands complex infrastructures due to its orography and geotechnics.

As part of Wednesday´s working session,, ESTEYCO held B2B meetings with various local contracting companies, consulting firms, and the public entity BANE NOR, the administrator of the national railway network in Norway.
