Last 28th March, our ATOMS technology (Auxiliary Towable Operation and Maintenance System for offshore wind towers) was awarded the People’s Choice Award in the 2022 BlueInvest Awards event organized by the European Maritime and Fisheries Funds (EMFF).

Esteyco’s CTO, José Serna García-Conde, participated in the event, which rewards innovative technologies in the marine energy fields that, at the same time, contributes with the decarbonisation of energies to achieve a future of zero emissions. He participated in the Battle Pitch in which he proved the capabilities of this innovative system which allows, for the first time, to perform large corrective O&M actions in offshore wind turbines without need for huge vessels, thus significantly reducing the overall cost of O&M actions.

This award is another step in the demonstration of this disruptive technology and, at the same time, encourages us to continue researching for a cleaner, more affordable energy and more accessible energy.
