The main objective of the documentary “La Ciutat de Tothom” is to highlight the important effort made during the Barcelona’92 Olympic Games time and, at the same time, to show that we are still enjoying today the great benefits achieved 28 years ago.
This documentary is expected to have a great benefit for society at large. On the one hand, for those who were involved in the process (Catalonia and Barcelona), since it remembers many of the personalities who played a key role; and, on the other hand, for the younger generations who will see the importance that that time had -and still has- in our everyday life (infrastructures, communications, neighbourhoods with insufficiencies, recovery of the seafront, housing, culture, leisure, …). In general, a higher quality of life was achieved. The documentary is made through a series of interviews with the main actors of this great urban transformation, who planned and designed to leave us the legacy of today’s Barcelona.
The dissemination of the documentary “La Ciutat de Tothom” has been possible thanks to different collaborators including the Televisió de Catalunya, which has provided a 15-minute series of images. It is also important to highlight the support of the main institutions whose impetus made it possible the great success of 92. At last but not least, other entities that have also expressed their support.
