The presentation event of the 2021 Misiones Ciencia e Innovación call organized by CDTI took place last 26th of July. The event, which was broadcast via streaming, was chaired by the Minister of Science and Innovation, Mrs Diana Morant and Director of CDTI, Mr Javier Ponce.
Esteyco participated in the event, represented by its Director of Development, Mrs Imma Estrada, as a success story to tell our experience as awardees of the Misiones Ciencia e Innovación grant in 2019.
Imma Estrada presented the LEAF project (Liderazgo Español para el Avance de la eólica Flotante) that Esteyco is leading in consortium with Saitec, Nautilus, Enerocean, X1Wind and Coremarine with the collaboration of research centres and universities such as CENER, PLOCAN, CEHINAV and the University of Malaga. Furthermore, she explained the importance that the MISIONES program has meant to carry out the LEAF project, whose main objective is to propose solutions to the needs of floating wind power, in order to achieve similar costs to the onshore wind.
