Yesterday, Barcelona hosted the 102nd edition of the legendary Jean Bouin race.
This historic event was born on February 1, 1920, driven by a group of journalists passionate about athletics who wanted to organize an urban race in the city similar to the famous Grand Prix Lemmonier in Paris. They named it Jean Bouin in tribute to the French long-distance runner.

In that first edition, 48 runners took part. Today, more than a century later, the Jean Bouin brings together 18,000 participants, including some colleagues from our Barcelona office.
