Esteyco received yesterday (October 22, 2019), the secondary award for the restoration project in Sant Antoni Market building at Barcelona, the Carlos Fernández Casado National Award. During the first edition of the Foro del Patrimonio de la Obra Pública (Public Works Heritage Forum), arranged by Fundación Caminos and that took place at the School of Civil Engineers in Madrid.
The project of Sant Antoni Market building, began on 2009 and finished on May 2018, the developers of the project were the Barcelona City Council and the Municipal Institute of Barcelona Markets. The authors of the architecture project were Pere Joan Ravetllat and Carme Ribas, the project of structures and technical assistance to works direction were performed by Esteyco and Sacyr construction company.
The introduction of the presentation during this first edition of the Public Works Heritage Forum about Sant Antoni Market building was given by Carlos García Acón, the Managing Director of Esteyco, who has carried out great part of the work for this project.
