Esteyco, together with the Spanish construction company, Rover Alcisa, has entered the Swedish market, providing consulting services, both in the preliminary tender phase and in subsequent construction phases, after being awarded by Trafikverket (Swedish infrastructure manager) for the construction knot of Norrk\u00f6ping (\u201cKardonbanan Contract\u201d). <\/p>\n
This project, with about 7 km, runs between \u00c5by and H\u00e4ndel\u00f6 and is part of the “East line Project”, which is the first step towards a new generation of high speed railways in Sweden.
\nThis project is being conceptualized as a double road project between J\u00e4rna, in the municipality of S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje, and the city of Link\u00f6ping, with an approximate length of 150 km.
\nSpecifically, within the Kardonbanan Contract, ESTEYCO carries out the detailed engineering of eight structures, most of them, overpasses bridges.<\/p>\n
