la Calzada, the <em>Col\u00b7legi d\u2019Enginyers de Camins, Canals i Ports de Catalunya <\/em>awarded the &#8220;<strong>Engineering and Progress&#8221; prize<\/strong> to the <strong>Marine Energy R&amp;D Platform of Catalonia (PLEMCAT),<\/strong> a pioneering infrastructure to promote the initial steps for the development of floating offshore wind energy in the Gulf of Roses.<\/p>\n<p>We are very proud that Esteyco is part of this project as one of the companies selected for the installation of the first prototypes, together with <strong>Sener and X1 Wind<\/strong>, under the leadership and collaboration of the <strong>Institut de Recerca en Energia de Catalunya (IREC)<\/strong> and the <strong>Direcci\u00f3 General d\u2019Energia de la Generalitat de Catalunya.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This recognition highlights technological innovation, the leadership of civil engineers, and the country&#8217;s commitment to renewable energies, emphasizing the <strong>Generalitat de Catalunya&#8217;s <\/strong>willingness to promote offshore wind energy in a gradual, responsible, and respectful manner with the territory.<\/p>\n<p>From Esteyco, we celebrate this step towards a more sustainable future and we thank the College for this recognition that reinforces the transformative mission of civil
