FOMENT PRESENTS THE CONCLUSIONS OF ITS COMMISSION"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last Monday, October 23rd, the main conclusions of the Commission for the Expansion of Barcelona-El Prat Airport that Foment del Treball created in September 2022 were presented in order to contribute to the reopening of dialogue between the Generalitat de Catalunya and AENA about the need to reestablish the operating capacity for which the airport we have today was designed. And with it, the opportunity and need to host a greater number of intercontinental flights that improve Barcelona&#8217;s connectivity with the world.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Imma Estrada, Esteyco&#8217;s development director and member of the Commission, was in charge of presenting the main reflections and conclusions regarding the analysis of the compatibility of the expansion of the Airport with the respect, preservation and even the improvement of the exceptional natural environment in which it is located: the Natural Spaces of the Llobregat Delta. which are part of the Natura 2000 Network.
