The energy company RWE implements an R+D+i project in the new Orkoien wind farm, near Pamplona. The wind farm, in which a 5.7 MW prototype has been installed, has combined innovative technologies that reduce the environmental impact during the construction phase \u2013 the use of plastic mats that minimise the impact of construction on the ground in temporary work areas \u2013 and greenhouse gas emissions during operation. by mainly using dry air as an insulating agent to interrupt the electrical currents in the medium voltage switchgear.<\/p>\n

In this sense, Esteyco has participated as one of the main actors during the development of the works, exercising the work of Project Management for the execution of BoP, foundations and electrical works; as well as the installation of the 105-meter metal tower and the 5.7 MW NORDEX wind turbine.<\/p>\n

In addition, we have collaborated with RWE in the monitoring of the foundation executed with a layer of EPS in the central part under the slab.
