Construction: Implementation and ports<\/strong><\/h5><\/div>Tackling the construction of an offshore wind power project is a major challenge for any developer. With the expectation of GW to be installed in the coming decades and with the supply chain expected to collapse to supply components to the wind farms, the complication is even greater. Being able to provide a global vision of the availability and features of ports, types of substructures, manufacturing and storage requirements, compatibility and coordination with the marshalling of turbines and components and having alternatives and possible complementary scenarios, will be key to making the right decisions. <\/p>\n
Esteyco has been undertaking this type of consultancy for more than ten years for various clients, initially to demonstrate the feasibility of our technologies but now also as engineering support for early stage developments. We have studied ports in Europe, USA and Asia. We have reviewed the port infrastructures and designed the necessary improvements, including dredging the entrance, we have proposed alternatives for serial or parallel manufacturing, comparing rhythms and stock requirements and we have analysed the installation of the park as a whole, to see the compatibility of activities and guarantee the maximum use of the installation windows. All this with the agility and breadth of vision in the preliminary feasibility stages of the projects and with all the detail and rigour in later stages.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
