\u00a9ATOMS technology has been devised to overcome the current O&M difficulties involved in marine wind energy, while offering a low-cost, scalable solution for major maintenance of both fixed and floating marine wind turbines. <\/span><\/p>\n \u00a9ATOMS enables a firm work platform to be coupled to the tower, from where commercial crane models can be installed and used coupled the turbine, with proven effectiveness when it comes to maintenance of the turbine. It is set to be the first system ever to allow major maintenance operations to be performed on fixed-based wind turbines with no need for large vessels, thereby cutting the costs involved.
