STRATEGIC NOISE MAPS AND TECHNICAL MEMORANDUM FOR ACTION PLANS FOR MAJOR RAILWAY AXES

The contract involved two objectives to be undertaken in two successive stages. The first stage was the preparation of the Strategic Noise Maps (MER) for phase II on 290.774 km of railway axes in the areas of Madrid and Guadalajara, which have traffic of over 30,000 trains/year, as well as the Atocha and Chamartín terminals.
The MERs were prepared for nine Strategic Map Units UME), which for the central lot were UME 01_01: Colmenar Viejo-Bifurcation Chamartín-Bifurcation Príncipe-Pio, UME 01_02: Madrid Chamartín-El Escorial, UME 01_03: Madrid Atocha-Guadalajara, UME 01_04: Madrid Atocha-Aranjuez, UME 01_05: Villaverde Bajo-Villaverde Alto-Parla, UME 01_06: Móstoles El Soto-Humanes, UME 01_07: Atocha transition, UME 01_08 Madrid Chamartín-Hortaleza y UME 01_09: Universidad.
The second stage involved the preparation of the technical memorandum for the action plans (PA) for 100 passing areas for the acoustic quality objectives set in Royal Decree 1367/2007, concentrating on the municipalities of Madrid, Pozuelo, Majadahonda, Las Rozas, Aranjuez, Alcalá de Henares, Torrelodones, Getafe, Pinto, Valdemoro, El Escorial, Coslada, Torrejón, Galapagar, Ciempozuelos, Seseña, Guadalajara, Móstoles, Alcorcón, Fuenlabrada, Leganés, Humanes and Collado Villalba.
