Esteyco Mechanics involvement in nuclear fusion focuses on the ITER project, where we have been working over more than a decade in a number of engineering disciplines and for many of the most critical ITER systems and components, both for ITER Organisation and the European domestic agency, Fusion for Energy. Nuclear fusión is a key pillar in the long-run strategic plan for Esteyco Mechanics as a prototypical example where the need to address non-conventional problems in engineering is everyday life. Further lines of activity in the field of nuclear fusion also involve other fundamental international projects, such as IFMIF-DONES, DEMO and STEP.

In the field of nuclear power generation, Esteyco Mechanics deploys its activity in support of technology developers, NPP owners and operators and the Spanish Nuclear Safety Authority.
