An in-depth knowledge of structural dynamics principles becomes key in the design of structures or components subjected to severe dynamic random loading (wind, wave and seismic motion) or to significant time-varying loading, as well as in systems with impact or motion control requirements.

Esteyco Mechanics experience in this field includes several projects involving the seismic analysis and design of critical facilities as well as the design of wind sensitive structures or supporting systems / foundations for heavy rotatory equipment, where vibration control requirements may actually drive the design. The group also gathers a vast experience in the field of high speed dynamics and blast resistant design.
