Esteyco is not an architecture studio that specialises in conventional building. There are surely other consultancies that are more competitive and quick to provide solutions for residential building, for example. But what we are interested in, and have worked extensively on, is the “grand scale”: museums, stations, industrial building, pavilions, stadiums, etc. Whenever a building is on the scale of civil works or whenever a project calls for large spaces and flexible functionalities, we have been able to come up with buildings that are appropriate for the relevant needs.
Over the last five years our team of architects have led the design of such complex projects as the Viralgen biomedical-research plant in San Sebastián, the Inleit transformation plant in Galicia or the Bermeo and Ondarroa markets. We refurbished Riazor stadium (the home of Deportivo La Coruña football club) to the local authority’s requirements, and right now we are designing the new ESADE headquarters in Barcelona. Not to mention all the work that is under way to design stations and other infrastructure-related buildings on that “grand scale” where we feel most comfortable.
