ESTEYCO PARTICIPATES IN THE VI EDITION OF #WINDTALENT

Last Thursday, May 9th, the VI Edition of #WindTalent took place at the Higher Technical School of Naval Engineers, an event organized by the Wind Energy Business Association (AEE) in co-organization with the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM). The annual event brings together representatives of HR, Talent and Training from companies in the wind sector, experts from Head Hunters consultancies, young professionals and students who are deciding on their career paths. In this edition, Esteyco has participated alongside Navantia Seanergies, Institute of Knowledge Engineering, Naturgy, RIC Energy, Greenalia, Iberdrola, Ocean Winds and Renantis. Cristina Romero, Naval Engineer from UNE Offshore and former student of the Higher Technical School of Naval Engineers, attended as a guest on the last panel of the program to tell her work experience and provide her opinion on the wind sector to the students who are talking about their future work. Esteyco would like to express gratitude for the invitation and congratulate AEE for their initiative in organizing these events to promote visibility for the wind energy sector in Spain. In addition, following the success of the #WindTalent event, the AEE invited Cristina and the rest of the participants to attend their radio program ‘Ondas del Viento,’ broadcasted by Capital Radio last Tuesday, May 14th. In said program, both Cristina and Federica Nigri from Renantis share how they made their way into the workforce and what their daily routines are like in their positions. Both analyzed how education is evolving in the academic world and provided their insights on what keeps them in the companies they work for, among other questions.
