He was born in Gernika in 1942. MSc Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. His professional career started with the South Plan of Valence and at the Freyssinet office in Paris (1969). In 1970, he founded Esteyco where he managed a multidisciplinary team of professionals with permanent offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, Bogota, Mexico, Chile and Brazil, apart from its presence in many other countries. He has developed over 800 projects, construction projects and R&D projects.
For 17 years, until 1991, he was a Lecturer in charge of the Course on Bridges and Metal Structures at the Madrid School of Civil Engineers. Honorary professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Speaker at numerous conferences at national and international level. President of the Spanish Association of Engineering consulting firms. Member of honour and ATEP medal for his contribution to the development of pre-stressed concrete in Spain (1987). Professional Merit Medal (1992) and Medal of Honour (2013) from the Spanish School of Civil Engineers. Ildefonso Cerdà Medal 2015 from the School of Civil Engineers of Catalonia. 2016 National Civil Engineering Award. Numerary member of the Royal Academy of Engineering (1998). He is also President of the ESTEYCO Foundation which he created in 1991.

He was born in Madrid in 1948. I studied BSc in Civil Engineering in Madrid. I am married to Isabel Cabrera and we have two daughters and one son and, for now, two granddaughters and four grandsons.

Professionally speaking, I am a disciple of Javier Rui-Wamba with whom I have been working since the creation of Esteyco in 1970. Personally speaking, he is a friend.

All these 45 years, I have participated in most of the projects developed by Esteyco. Currently, my goal is to foster the development of the support infrastructure of wind turbines, onshore and offshore. Our project ELISA. Patron of the Esteyco Foundation, Board member of Esteyco, SWT and Incydo. In the last of my professional career, my objective is to guarantee Esteyco’s future in accordance with his Founder’s ideology.

Law Degree from the Complutense University of Madrid. General Management Program from IESE, University of Navarra. Lecturer on the subject Financial System at the School of Marketing and Business. He worked for the Banco Exterior de España and Banco Altántico for 25 years in which time he held various significant positions such as Head Office, Head of the International Department, Director of the Operational Division, General Auditor of the Banks and its subsidiary banks and companies and, finally, Managing Director.
Furthermore, he co-founded the Bank of Investment and Financial Services in which he was first Managing Director and Board Member and then President of the Board of Members.
He combined these positions with his role as the President of Mercaban, a brokering company. Moreover, he was Vice-president of T.C.I. a Multinational Engineering Company and Consultant and Adviser to different banks in Europe, North America and South America.

Managing Director and Board Member of Esteyco since 2008. He is a Patron since 2006 and Treasurer of the Esteyco Foundation since  2016 . MSc in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Master in Business Administration from IESE. His professional career started in Dublin with the construction of the tramway. He became part of Esteyco’s team in 2001. He spent more than 10 years in Barcelona where he managed different emblematic projects for the transformation of the city. Some examples are the Esplanade and Photovoltaic Pergola of the Forum of Cultures, the Covering Structure and Urban Planning of railway accesses to Sants Station, the accesses to New Containers Terminal at the Port of Barcelona or Road Tunnels at the Glorias Square.
As the driven force for the transformation and evolution of ESTEYCO in the latest years he has consolidated the group’s process of internationalization with a clear commitment to transition from traditional engineering towards a more advanced and differentiated technical consultancy. On this basis, he has opted for new models of project organization in Latin America and for the development of new products and technologies in order to obtain energy cost reduction. For instance, disruptive tower technology and precast concrete foundations in the wind sector. In order for Esteyco to become 100 years old, his main goal is to achieve suitable conditions to attract and manage talent to maintain the quality and good service that have characterized our group in the last five decades.

MSc Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He graduated in 2001 and the same year he became part of Esteyco. Nowadays, he is the Chief Technology Officer and a Board Member.
He has worked in the design and construction of multiple bridges and special structures. His book, Los Puentes del Tren (The bridges of the train) was published in 2006. Later on, in 2007, he co-founded Esteyco Energía. It is a specialized division to provide advanced engineering services in the energy sector. In the last 14 years, he has been involved in projects and has provided engineering consultancy services, mainly structural engineering and geotechnics, to over 300 wind farms in 30 different countries.
He has led different R+D national and international projects in advanced structures and, especially, in innovative sub-structures for onshore and offshore wind turbines. They have resulted in pioneer and patented precast towers or foundations for wind turbines of which over 500 are built and in operation today on an industrial scale. He has published different articles and given several conferences on this subject at different international congresses and postgraduate courses.

MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Deusto University. His professional career began in 1995 working for Andersen Consulting, in which he participated in different projects consisting of providing consultancy services of processes and systems for different metallurgical companies of the north part of Spain. Four years later, he became part of the SAS Automotive Systems company, a Joint Venture between Sommer Allibert and Siemens for the assembly and supply of JIY cockpit modules for the car industry. After 5 years of intense work in order to consolidate the company position and regulate its essential procedures, the company expanded going from one production plant and one single client to four productions plants and four of the major car manufacturers of the country.
In 2004, he joined Gamesa as the Financial Director of the Wind Division. In his first years, he concentrated on improving and adapting financial and administrative procedures due to the company’s strong growth and process of internationalization. Later on, he focused on Product Cost Analysis. In 2011, he founded a small division within Gamesa called Added Value Division. In this position, he also participates, from a different perspective, in the elaboration of Gamesa’s Product Development Strategy and identification of new opportunities, with a more comprehensive approach.
In 2017 he joined Esteyco as the Product Development Director where he is responsible for increasing Esteyco’s product portfolio. This includes not only searching for new opportunities but also improving existing products adding a more financial and commercial perspective to Esteyco’s technical know-how.

MSc in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Concentration in Foundations and Structures, 1999. His professional career started at the Construction company ACS as a member of the Structures Department. Later on, he worked for the structural engineering company, FHECOR Ingenieros, where he held the position of Team Leader at the Civil Works Department.
Between 2007 and 2010 he worked for KV Ingenieros Consultores where he combined designing tasks and the opening of new markets, that is, combining his position of Head of the Structures Department and that of Director of Business Development. From 2010 to nowadays, he became Technical Director of Esteyco Energía, which is expanding rapidly in the latest years.
He has been responsible of such important projects as the development of precast concrete towers for more than 500 wind turbines, detailed projects of over 100 new bridges of different typologies and materials, more than 25 renovations of bridges and other structures, building projects, commercial centres, parking lots, railway stations, etc.
In the field of wind energy, he has participated as a Technical Director and Project Manager in the development of Civil and Electric Engineering at different Wind Farms in Chile and Brazil. Furthermore, he has participated in the Design of Foundations and the Geotechnical Study for different wind farms in over 30 countries. In terms of energy, it is also important to mention the book entitled With a Fair Wind, written by him and published by Esteyco Foundation. This book deals with wind and wind energy from different perspectives: historical, artistic, physical and technical, among others.
At last but not least, it is important to highlight his participation in different conferences and technical seminars. In fact, he has participated as guest speaker at different events in such different countries as Spain, South Africa, Brazil, USA, Denmark and Austria.

MSc in Civil Engineering (2000) from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. MBA from IESE in 2012. His professional career started in Sacyr’s Railway Division where he worked for 11 years in different projects. He also worked as a Production Manager for projects such as new Train Sheds in Mintra for Metrosur between Mostoles and Fuenlabrada and the high-speed railway line Ronda de Bará in Tarragona. Construction manager for the high-speed line between Alcira – Algemesí in Valencia for ADIF. In 2006 he started to work as a Site Manager in Barcelona. While working in Barcelona, he developed some relevant works as a Site Manager, for instance, the implementation of AVE (Spanish high-speed rail lines) in Barcelona and the implementation of a high-speed line to cross the city of Barcelona through a tunnel towards the forthcoming Sagrera station. He joined Esteyco in 2011 as the International Director in order to continue Esteyco’s process of internationalization. As International Director, he coordinated the opening of Esteyco’s subsidiaries in Colombia, Chile and Mexico. Today, these subsidiary companies greatly contribute to Esteyco’s progress. Since 2015 he also became Director of Business Development in which he is responsible for searching new business opportunities.

Corporate Director of Esteyco based in our Barcelona office. She is a partner and member of the Management Committee and she is deeply involved in the present and future situation of Esteyco.
As a Corporate Director, she manages different departments such as Financial Department, Human Resources Department and Legal and Administration Department both of Esteyco and of the different subsidiaries. Furthermore, she is responsible for promoting, developing and managing new lines of business related to the organization of NCRE projects mainly in Latin America and micro-networks. Previously, up to 2015, she held the position of General Manager of Esteyco Chile. She was responsible for its establishment in 2012 and its consolidation in the country. From the beginning, it was well received in this Andean country. Nowadays, it is one of Esteyco’s driving force. During this period, she managed over 50 contracts/projects related to infrastructures and energy. Some projects are the provision of Detailed Engineering services for the Improvement and Conservation of Route 43 Ovalle-Coquimbo and the Project Management of San Juan Chañaral Wind Farm (186MW) which is the biggest wind farm built in Chile up to now. Prior to this period, and since she joined Esteyco in 2006, she had participated in civil engineering multidisciplinary projects as the Construction Manager and Project Manager of structural and linear engineering projects (road and railway). She also participated in R&D projects.
PhD in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2000/2005); MBA from IESE Business School from 2011-2012. It could be said that her professional career started in the field of research with her dissertation in which she deals with Metallic Structures in the area of Construction Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in which she also worked as a lecturer. Part of her dissertation was developed while studying in the Imperial College London for which he obtained European Doctor mention and Extraordinary Doctorate Award.

Graduated in Business Studies by the Complutense University of Madrid, he is specialized in Labour and postgraduate in Supply Chain Management. He started his career path as a Financial Consultor implementing ERPs in more than 12 companies. Afterwards he joined CARRIER group as Financial Controller on the replacement and refrigeration division. In 2006 is responsible for the Logistics Department, managing the main storehouse of 6000m2 and the transport and stock of more than 20 branch offices. After 2009, on his duties is included the management of the Purchase and Customer Service department, in this way the Supply Chain management is completed. Moreover, since 2012 he directs the IT Department and leads the fusion with the TOSHIBA Air Conditioner division. In 2018 joins ESTEYCO as Corporate Director managing the Finance/Administration, IT and HR areas from the different companies of the ESTEYCO group.

MSc in Civil Engineering and Global Executive MBA from IESE Business School. With over 17 years of experience in the field, he has extensive experience in high-responsibility positions. In 2015 he became, together with other companies’ leaders, member of the Advisory Committee of the famous Rosseta Art Centre of London in which position he provided strategy consulting and management services for 1 year. It consisted of supporting and guiding the institution to achieve its objectives.
In the last 11 years, he has held C-level positions both as a member of the Board of Directors and as a Managing Director in different Spanish civil engineering and construction companies. In 2011 he co-founded and launched Varko Consultores, S.L. to provide consulting services to financial entities in order to manage their non-financial assets and to create strategic partnerships (through the setting up of an European professional society) with Portuguese civil engineering companies and architecture studios in order to extend its scope in international markets.

Partner of Esteyco and Patron of the Esteyco Foundation. He graduated as an Architect from the Superior Technical School of Architecture of Barcelona (ETSAB-UPC) in 1991. Later on, he obtained a Postgraduate Degree in The Large Scale: Architecture of New Environments. Member of the Official School of Architects in Catalonia and Madrid. Moreover, he is accredited by the National Professional Association of Architects of Colombia.
He has published several books for the Esteyco Foundations: “Esbozos” in 2007, Arquitectos entre Ingenieros (Architects among Engineers) in 2008 and Cartagena de Indias, Realidad y Futuro (Cartagena de Indias, Reality and Future) in 2013 among others. He has also published different articles in specialized journals. He regularly participates as a speaker in congresses and technical seminars on urban planning, integration of road infrastructures and landscape architecture: speaker at the Large Scale Master (Polytechnic University of Catalonia, 2003-2005); speaker at the Technical Seminars on Integration of Large Infrastructures into the Landscape, Huelva 2008; speaker at the V Symposium on Tunnels organized by ATC in 2010, Bilbao in which he participated with the conference The Tunnel’s Frontier.
After working for different architecture firms, he joined Esteyco in 1991 in collaboration with the Institut Municipal d’Urbanisme of Barcelona, IMPU designing and developing Olympic infrastructures for Barcelona 92, for instance, the Rambla de Prim, the Glorias Square and the Trinidad junction.
He has managed and developed multiple projects of architecture, urban planning and civil engineering at different scales and from different specialties, always in the context of multidisciplinary work and by encouraging collaboration between architecture and engineering. Among his most significant works are landscape integration of road and railway infrastructures, building project, stations and urban planning projects for both public and private clients; the Calviá Road Park in Mallorca, the Ronda de Málaga, ADIF, ETS and FGC railway stations and strategic urban planning projects such as the Vapor Gran area and the Torresana neighbourhood in Terrasa, the Casernes de Sant Andreu, the Plaza del Forum de las Culturas 2004, accesses to Sants Station, the covering structure of the Ronda de Dalt and the new Smart City Concept of La Marina del Prat Vermell in Barcelona.
At international level, he has developed different urban planning projects in Latin America, for instance, the Buenaventura Master Plan and the transformation of the Manga Island in Cartagena or the railway accesses to Santa Marta in Colombia. In terms of energy infrastructures, he has developed several projects related to control buildings of different wind farms in Chile or the first energy self-sustainable tourist resort in the Canary Islands.

He was born in Setenil (Cádiz). He has 44 years of experience, of which 32 years in Esteyco. He is an expert on Transport Infrastructures and Road Safety Auditing from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Among his most important tasks are coordination, project management and technical-commercial management with clients of different public administrations. He has participated in numerous multidisciplinary projects, both national and international, of great importance. He is part of the Esteyco’s Supervision Department in which several infrastructure projects have been supervised for different public administrations. Furthermore, he was part of the team which developed the most significant infrastructure projects in Barcelona in the previous years of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games and of the Forum de las Culturas 2004. Later on, he participated in different studies and projects of road and railway infrastructures such as Ronda del Vallés, Ronda del Maresme, some sections of the Mudéjar Highway for the Spanish Ministry of Development, the Railway Cross Axis of Catalonia, different accesses to the Port of Barcelona and the Extension project of the Maritime Terminal of Zaragoza, among others. He also takes part in National Committees: Road Tunnels and Interurban Roads and Interurban Integrated Transport from the Technical Association of Roads and the World Road Association Mondiale de la Route. As a speaker, he has participated in different congresses on roads both at national and international level.

MSc Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Linked to the structural design from the beginning of his professional career, he has more than 19 years track record on the field. He has developed many schemes: road and railway viaducts and bridges, singular pedestrian footbridges, foundation designs and pathology analysis in wind turbines, offshore structural designs, renovations and extensions of historical bridges, inspection and analysis of pathologies, bridge renovation projects, structural design of singular buildings, urban underground structures, tunnels and cut & covers, structural designs of elements related to hydraulic works and industrial installations and structural design of LNG tanks.
Furthermore, he has developed additional tasks concerning technical follow-up during construction process and provision of technical solutions to construction problems at national and international level. Additionally, he has worked as a Designer and Director of different multidisciplinary projects related to Linear Infrastructures and LNG installations. He also takes active part in the Supervision Contracts for the Spanish Directorate General of National Roads of the Ministry of Development.
He has also been involved in such important projects as the Forum of Barcelona, the structures included in Rail High-Speed Line Alcira – Algemesí and Picanya – Valencia, concessions known as La Serena – Ovalle and Vallenar – La Serena in Chile, Suspension Bridge over the Sinú river in Montería, Glorias Tunnels in Barcelona, Waterford Bypass in Ireland, Marmaray CR3 in Turkey, Toronto Subway, LNG tank in Zeebrugge, Belgium and structural collaborations in different projects and public and private concessions in the Tender and Detailed Design processes in Spain, Belgium, Ireland, UK, Canada, Chile and Colombia.

Founder of the Structural Mechanics Division in Esteyco, his professional activity is mainly focused on the study and solution of non-conventional problems in the field of mechanical-structural engineering.
MSc in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, concentration in Foundations and Structures, year 1999. His professional career started at IDOM where he worked as an engineer for the Analysis and Advanced Design Division. In 2005 he became head of the division. Since then, he combined engineering services with definition and implementation of the division’s global strategy which required technical, commercial, financial and team skills. He joined Esteyco in 2014 to found the Structural Mechanics Division. His main goal was to create a high-qualified and multidisciplinary team to provide added-value advance technical services.
For the last two decades, he has worked for different sectors such as aerospace, construction, nuclear generation, defense, renewable energies and transport. In the last years, it is worth mentioning his experience in the field of nuclear fission in which he has lead numerous studies, analyses and design. These works include not only ITER main infrastructures but also some of its most important equipment (including the Tokamak reactor or the design of two European TBM concepts). Furthermore, he is author and co-author of over thirty conferences and articles in journal, courses and congresses.

MSc Civil Engineer by University Alfonso X of Madrid. In 2004, she joined the Lineal Design department in Esteyco that currently leads.

She has more than 18 years of experience in performing, managing, supervising and directing projects in multiple disciplines of civil engineer where she oversees the geometric design and coordinates the rest of areas that intervene.

It is remarkable her involvement in railway projects in the Conventional Network as well as the High Speed Network. Currently, she leads the Platform Constructive Project of the high-speed line Palencia-Aguilar de Campoo in the stretch Calahorra de Boedo – Alar del Rey. Internationally, stands out her participation in the Railway Access Study to Santa Marta Port at Colombia.

In the road engineering field, she has a broad experience in project writing of different detail, from informative studies to construction projects. She currently directs the project of the A-62 in the stretch Cigales-Simancas that includes the burying of the highway on its way to Simancas. At an international level she has taken part in the definitive engineering projects of the 43 Route in the region of Coquimbo, Chile.
She also takes part in other fields supporting civil works related to urbanization projects, wind farms, etc.

MSc in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Linked to geotechnics from the beginning of his professional career, he has more than 17 years track record on the field.
He has covered, with different levels of responsibility, the relevant topics within the same: ground models, slope stability, earthworks, retaining structures, tunnels support and structures foundation.
Complementary to the role of geotechnical engineer, he has also developed design management roles, mainly at international level, coordinating other disciplines.
He has participated in tenders and detailed designs, both for D&B and PPP contracts, in the following countries: Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Ireland, New Zealand, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, UK, Uruguay and USA. Furthermore, he collaborates with Esteyco’s Offshore Energy Division where he participates in its commercial development (mainly wind energy business cases and LNG).
He is co-author of several papers on geotechnics.
In 2014 he was invited to form part of the Advisory Services Pool of Experts of the UNOPS (United Nations Office for Project Services), for infrastructure.

MSc Civil Engineer at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Since the beginning of his professional career he has been related with the ground engineering. He has more than 20 years of experience in this field, in national and international projects, in countries such as Norway, Sweden, Chile, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Peru, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ireland and Portugal.

Most of his professional career has been related to geotechnical studies and tunneling design for highway and railway projects. He has led ground engineering teams in numerous high-speed railway projects, such as San Isidro – Orihuela section (Alicante).
He has wide experience in large tailing dams design and monitoring schemes. It is worth mentioning his participation in the monitoring and technical assistance for “Marisma del Rincón” Gypsum Stack (Huelva) for more than eight years, or the detailed design for the increase of Maximum Operation Level of Xove Red Mud Stack Dam (Lugo).

In addition, he has been involved in several pavement design projects between 1999 and 2008, being this engineering specialty his main task between 2006 and 2008, when he leaded Pavement Design and Pavement Upgrade schemes in Ireland and Spain.
With regard to his track record in tunneling, it is remarkable his experience as project author and as third party checker in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Corridor Vc), having also taken part in numerous tunnel projects in high speed railway sections in Spain, such as “Karraskain” and “Udalaitz” tunnels.

In addition, he has been part of project management teams in large international projects, highlighting his participation in the detail design for eleven elevated stations of Riyadh Metro Project.
He actively participates in the Esteyco Supervision contracts with the General Directorate of Roads of the Spanish Ministry of Development and provides specialized technical assistance for “ongoing” execution works.

Roser obtained both an MSc Civil Engineering (2009) and BSc Civil Engineering, majoring in Civil Construction (2006) from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya. During her time at university, she was awarded two collaboration scholarships in the Department of Construction Engineering to carry out research activities for the loading test of the precast concrete segments of L9 Barcelona metro and for the research and development of a very high performance concrete reinforced with fibers.

Since joining Esteyco in September 2009, she has actively participated in the structures department in the drafting and technical assistance of national road and rail, singular building and bridge projects. In the energy sector, she has also participated in multiples wind projects in the field of foundation design and civil works.

Internationally, she has participated as a member of FCBC’s Technical Office (Forth Crossing Bridge Constructors) for the construction of the Queensferry Crossing cable-stayed bridge in the Forth River estuary (Scotland) between 2013 and 2014. Her on site presence in the wind sector, is complemented with the construction management of the foundations for Talinay wind farm in Chile, 90MW, and carrying out the technical inspection of the repair works of five bridges for the Access to Carapé wind farm in Uruguay.

From mid-2014 until early 2017, she has been the Head of BOP Projects in Esteyco Energia and progressed to her current position of Deputy Director of this business area. During her time in Esteyco Energia she has participated in the coordination of projects for the design of foundations, geological and geotechnical studies and surveys, as well as the civil and electrical engineering for more than 50 wind farms located in different countries, especially in Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina, totaling more than 4000MW.

Finally highlight her attendance in various conferences and technical seminars including the participation as speaker in the II Spanish Wind Congress with the presentation “Precast solutions and their impact on the reduction of CoE. Braced foundation and auto lift concrete tower “.

MSc Civil Engineer by the University Politécnica of Madrid. During his whole professional path, since his beginning in 2005 at FHECOR Consulting Engineers, he has work in structural design, mainlly bridges, but also other civil structures such as tanks, underground works, etc. He has design railway bridges (High Speed Railway), highway and pedestrian bridges, by using both classic and innovative materials: concrete, carbon steel, fibergrass reinforced polymer (GRFP).

In 2009 joins Pedelta as a designer, where he develops projects from Spain as well as from US, Canada, Brasil, Peru, Equatorial Guinea, Colombia, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, etc. so he has used the main local and international regulations and recommendations related to structural design (AASHTO, CAN-CSA, Eurocode, CCP-200-94, FIB Model Code, PTI, AWS, etc).

His collaboration on bridge designing has been during all phases: Informative Studies and Constructive Projects, performance of Structures Supervision, Construction Technical Assistance, Consultancy, Project writing and Restoration Projects, even demolition projects, but mainly constructive projects and construction technical assistance.

Between the outstanding projects in which he has been involved, the following projects highlight: the tighten viaduct of Arbizelai, the extension of Los Santos Bridge (Ribadeo-Vegadeo), Cáscara walkway over the Manzanares River in Madrid, Caja Mágica (Madrid), mixed bridges of Bucaramanga (Colombia) and Cruz Laca (Perú), slab bridge of Mansiche (Trujillo, Perú), successive corbel bridges of Juntas (Colombia), Flandes bridge over Magdalena river (Colombia) and Corcova bridge (Colombia), tighten bridge of Hisgaura (Colombia), tighten bridges of Oyala (Equatorial Guinea), stainless steel footbridge of Fort York (Toronto), Museo do Amanha (Río de Janeiro), viaducts drawer shaped at Zabaleta Sur, Goikoa and Zumelegui (HS line, Elorrio stretch), restoration of the Monistrol factory bridge (Barcelona), several subway stations at Toronto and Ryhad, etc.

In 2017 joins Esteyco Energy as director of structures production, coordinating the project development in foundations as well as in towers of prestressed concrete. Remarking his involvement in the development of the foundation patented by Esteyco: the precast angle brace, as well as in the development of hybrid towers for Nordex-Acciona Windpower and telescopic towers for General Electric and Jinke (China).

Lara obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering focused on civil construction from the Polytechnic University of Alicante. Afterwards, she graduated with honors by the Polytechnic University of Alicante in her Master’s degree in Civil Engineering. She completed her master studies in Lithuania and she carried out her final master thesis at Southwestern University of Science and Technology, in China, under a prestigious research program scholarship.

She completed her technical studies through a “TALENT” traineeship for internationalization financed by the Social European fund, by means of which she worked for the Economic and Commercial Office of the Spanish Embassy in The Hague (The Netherlands).

As head of the department, she directs the research and development projects of the company, participating in its investment strategy through obtaining funds and subsidies that allow the development of the company’s own technologies and benchmarks in the sector.

As a representative and direct interlocutor, she continuously reports to the different official institutions on the status and monitoring of the different national projects (Challenges, PID, CIEN …) and international projects (H2020, Interreg, Eurostars …).

She also collaborates in the writing and technical assistance of new research projects, mainly in the field of offshore wind energy.,

Finally, it is worth noting her active participation as a speaker in conferences, events and workshops related to offshore wind technologies and on the different ways of financing innovation.

Esteyco Chile Manager since 2018. MSc Civil Engineer by the University Politécnica of Catalunya, Executive MBA by the Business School EAE. He started his professional path in Barcelona at CISCA Engineering in 2000. He took part in projects performance, Works Direction and Project management of several urban infrastructures in a context of high investments in the city. Some examples of this period are: covering of Ronda del Guinardó, covering of Ronda de Dalt (Canyelles) and Horta Bus Station (TMB). In the period 2008-2010 he moved to Madrid as company manager in a new creation office, from where he served different building companies.

On 2011 takes on the challenge of expanding CICSA business in Chile, trying to position the company in the Chilean market by associating with local companies. The most relevant project in this phase has been the Central Coastal Highway Pre-project, with 2.000 MUSD invested. During this period, he acquired experience in more transverse aspects of the business: legal, commercial, financial, team creation and management.
During the years 2015-2016 he enrolls in the energy sector, by performing the Works Direction of three hydroelectric mini-plants in southern Chile (ERH Consult). In 2017 he returns to Santiago de Chile to lead the introduction of IDP engineering in the country.

In the year 2018 is designed Esteyco Chile Manager, the subsidiary set up in the country for more than 6 years and with a great number of executed projects in the field of the great infrastructures of civil works and energy. He assumes the managing of the subsidiary with the aim of foster and increase the business numbers through organic growth and the consolidation of a local production team supported by the professionals of Esteyco in Spain and the strategic alliance with local partners.

She has participated and managed several scientific research projects in various fields, including art and public works, which have won awards in national and international congresses and forums.
In Esteyco since February 2008, he was part of the structure team and, within it, she developed several road and railway projects. Later, after her arrival in Mexico in 2012, she worked with wind energy projects as Project Director. In 2019 she became Country Manager of Esteyco Mexico.

The most remarkable projects developed in Mexico are: Vientos del Altiplano Wind Farm (100 MW), Palo Alto Wind Farm (129 MW), Eólica del Sur Wind Farm (396 MW), Salitrillos Wind Farm (103 MW), Dolores Wind Farm (274 MW) , Cerro Iguana Wind Farm (200 MW). She has performed projects for the three Energy Auctions of Mexico, which have won: 1st Energy Auction: Villanueva Solar Plant, Don José Solar Plant, Tizimin Wind Farm. 2nd Energy Auction: Salitrillos Wind Farm, Guinaa Sicaru Wind Farm. 3rd Energy Auction: Villa Ahumada Solar Plant and Dolores Wind Farm.

After the tragic earthquake in Puebla, Mexico, on September 19th, 2017, that dramatically hit the City of México, she supported the structural assessment of multiple buildings damaged by the earthquake

For more than 14 years he was a member of the Linear Design Division where he participated in the drafting and management of several projects related to roads, railways, urban planning and energy. His work in the field of Wind Energy is worth mentioning. As a Responsible for Civil Works in Esteyco’s energy division, he developed dozens of wind farms in over 20 different countries.
In 2010 he became a member of Esteyco’s subsidiary company, Esteyco Chile, and in 2015 he was appointed as its General Manager. Since then, his main task is to make the company grow. This will be achieved by gradually incorporating all services and values that Esteyco provides at global level.

Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention, concentration in Health and Safety, from the Instituto Gaudí de la Construcción. With over 20 years of experience, his professional career began as a Site Manager at a construction company. During this period he carried out different projects related to water treatment infrastructures and urban planning. He joined Esteyco in 1996.
Expert on works site execution, supervision and management, he has extensive experience in road and railway infrastructures and singular buildings.
Furthermore, he has participated as part of the site works management and technical assistance teams in such singular projects as Guadarrama Tunnels of the high-speed line from Madrid to Valladolid, the South Junction of the high-speed rail accesses to Valencia, the high-speed rail section Tolosa-Hernialde, the so-called Basque “Y”, different railway sections including several structures, for instance, the road engineering project of Ízbor-Vélez in Benaudalla at A-44 highway and that of Caldearenas-Lanave at A-23 highway.
Moreover, he has participated in Project Management and turnkey projects as well as in international projects such as the 3rd Space Antenna for the European agency ESA.
He is responsible for leading a team in charge of inspections and repairs of wind towers’ foundations -hundreds of MW have been monitored and dozens have been repaired-, technical consultancy and management of new wind towers’ foundations and new constructed concrete towers.

During her period in companies in the hotel sector such as Meliá or Travelodge, two of her great achievements have been the creation of both financial, management and administration controlling departments, as well as the reduction in both cases of accounts receivable over 40 %.

Throughout these years of experience being responsible for all the areas involved in the financial management of the company accounting, treasury, tax management, she has developed an extensive knowledge of the financing tools in the current market, as well as the global vision of the company.

Since the beginning of her career Sara has always been people oriented. First, in the social sector, collaborating with numerous non-profit organizations in different areas: childhood, persons deprived of liberty, the elderly, cognitive restructuring.

Years later, she shifted her career towards human resources. Beginning in the third sector by working comprehensively human resources management with national and international perspective, working with more than 11 different countries. Her greatest achievements in the sector have been the growth of a 380% of the team in a 3-year period and working on training high performance teams.

After more than 4 years in the third sector, she joins Esteyco in 2019 as HR Manager of all companies that form Esteyco Group.
